Scope specifies at which level you want to collect size information. There are predefined scopes but you are
able to define your own if you wish.
The available scopes are:
| Scope | Search Path | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Public Folders | /content/* | Targets the Public Folders. |
| My Folders | //account | Targets all of the My Folders. |
| Other | Any search path | Targets the provided search path. |
By checking this check box you enable size information calculation in Content Manager. If this check box is not checked CM will only return count information.
By checking this check box you are instructing CM to store the results of this query in the database. This option should be used with care since saving results in the database might take a long time and have an impact on database performance.
This value defines the maximum number of objects rooted at the current scope that will be evaluated and returned by Content Manager. Using this field in conjunction with Skip Objects (below) you can effectively 'page' through the results. By default this value is 10, so for example if there are 20 container objects under the current scope only the first ten will be evaluated and returned by Content Manager. To view the next 10 you need to change the Skip Objects value to 10 to skip the first 10.
This value defines how many objects for Content Manager to skip evaluating and returning under the current scope. Please read the description for Max Objects (above) to see how to use this value to page through results.
Classes defines the group of classes to count and evaluate size information on. There are a few predefined
class groups but you are also free to specify your own.
The available class groups are:
| Class Group | Classes | Description |
|---|---|---|
| output | output | Report outputs |
| model | model | Framework Manager models. |
| specs | report, query, analysis, reportVersion | Specifications. |
| User Defined | Any class | Use the edit classes button to open a dialog to customize the class list. You may include any class that can be stored in Content Manager. |
Back
CMSize stores a basic history of previous queries. Click the back button
to revisit previous queries.
Keep in mind that the query will be resent to Content Manager.
Drill Down
The drill down button
becomes active when you select an entry in the size table. When this button is clicked
CMSize will drill into whichever container was selected to show a break down of the size information for the subcontainers.
Clicking either the refresh button
or the send button
will send
a sizing request to Content Manager.
