IBM Cognos Sample Programs

SubmitReportUI.java - Creates a job and runs it immediately or requests that it be run in the future.

The Java SubmitReportUI sample program creates a job and runs it immediately or requests that it be run in the future.

Dependent Files

Associated files are contained under the java sample folder.
Additional files required for running are identified in the CLASSPATH definitions in run.bat file.

How To Run The Sample Program

Double click on the file run.bat.

A window will be opened containing:
    - Sample Option selection dropdown box
    - Report selection dropdown box
    - Run Option command button
    - URL text box
    - Output Pane

Click on the 'Run Option' button to run the sample program.

Expected Results

The selected report will be submitted as a step in a job named 'NewJobJ'. If the 'Submit Job' Option is selected, the job will be submitted and executed immediately. If the 'Submit Job At' option is selected, the job will be submitted now, and executed 15 minutes later.
