Synchronizing the directories

Perform these steps to synchronize directories.

Procedure

Synchronize the directories.

  • For Windows operating systems do the following:

    1. From the Start menu, click Programs, IBM Cognos 10, Administration, Synchronize.

  • For UNIX or Linux operating systems, do the following:

    1. Open a command line and go to the location where Cognos® UI and Error String Customization Toolkit is installed.
    2. Type //installation_location/bin>localize.sh sync
The processing may take a few minutes. After it is finished, you can customize the text.
