IBM Cognos Sample Programs

Submit.sln - Creates a schedule on a report.

The C# Submit sample program creates a schedule on a report to be run at a specified time.

Dependent Files

Associated files are contained under the C# sample bin folder.

How To Run The Sample Program

Double click on the file ..\csharp\bin\Submit.exe

A window will be opened containing:
    - Sample Option selection dropdown box
    - Report selection dropdown box
    - Run Option command button
    - URL text box
    - Results Display Window

Choose an option from the 'Choose Option' combo box, then click on the 'Run Option' button to run the sample program.

Expected Results

The selected report will be submitted as a step in a job named 'NewJob'. If the 'Submit Job' Option is selected, the job will be submitted and executed immediately. If the 'Submit Job At' option is selected, the job will be submitted now, and executed 2 minutes later.
