translate Attribute

An attribute that identifies strings that must be translated or otherwise modified.

Only files in the synchronization directory contain strings with this attribute. The translate attribute is set automatically by the IBM® Cognos® UI and Error String Customization Toolkit.

The values for this attribute are

new
Identifies all strings for the first customization project, and all new strings added after each subsequent customization project.
changed
Identifies strings changed after the last customization project.
