Interface and Error String Customization Toolkit for Windows operating systems.</span>
 </div>
<div class="tasklabel"><h2 class="sectiontitle tasklabel">Procedure</h2></div><ol class="ol steps"><li class="li step stepexpand"><span class="ph cmd">From the <span class="ph uicontrol">Start</span> menu, click <span class="ph uicontrol">Programs</span>, <span class="ph uicontrol">IBM
Cognos 10</span>, <span class="ph uicontrol">Administration</span>, and
then click <span class="ph uicontrol">Update Configuration</span>.</span>  <p class="p">This
runs the <span class="ph filepath">updateconfig.bat</span> file located in the Cognos UI and Error String Customization
Toolkit installation directory named <span class="ph filepath"><var class="keyword varname">installation_location</var>\bin</span>,
and automatically opens the <span class="ph filepath">LocalizationConfig.properties</span> file
located in the same directory.</p>

<li class="li step stepexpand"><span class="ph cmd">Save the file.</span>  <p class="p">The configuration is automatically
updated.</p>
