use this procedure to uninstall it.</span>

<div class="tasklabel"><h2 class="sectiontitle tasklabel">Procedure</h2></div><p class="li stepsection">  </p><ol class="ol steps"><li class="li step stepexpand"><span class="ph cmd">From the <span class="ph uicontrol">Start</span> menu, click <span class="ph uicontrol">Programs</span>, <span class="ph uicontrol">IBM
Cognos 10</span>, <span class="ph uicontrol">Uninstall IBM Cognos</span>,
and enabling the <span class="ph uicontrol">IBM Cognos Software Development Kit</span> checkbox.</span></li>
<li class="li step stepexpand"><span class="ph cmd">Follow the instructions to complete the uninstallation.</span>  <p class="p">The <span class="ph filepath">cognos_uninst_log.htm</span> file records
the activities that the uninstallation wizard performs while uninstalling
files.</p>
 <div class="note tip"><span class="tiptitle">Tip:</span> To find the log file, look in the <span class="ph filepath">Temp</span> directory. </div>

<div class="section result"><div class="tasklabel"><h2 class="sectiontitle tasklabel">Results</h2></div>Uninstalling does not remove any files that changed since
the installation. Your installation location remains on your computer,
and these files remain until you delete them manually.</div>
